Growing up, my dad worked out of town a lot, and whenever he came home he would bring Chinese takeout (my favorite). Unfortunately we live several states away now so we don’t see each other as often as I’d like but it’s our little tradition to get takeout & have a FaceTime date whenever I’m feeling extra homesick.
