Delicate Gemstones and Vintage Treasures
Some charms feature precious gemstones that require extra care, especially during summer. Gemstones like opal, pearl, and emerald are relatively soft and prone to damage from heat, sunlight, and chemicals. To protect these delicate gemstones, avoid exposing them to direct sunlight for extended periods and keep them away from excessively high temperatures. When not wearing your charms, store them in a cool and dry place, preferably in a jewelry box or pouch, to prevent scratches or accidental damage. Vintage charms, similarly, often need a little extra love, especially if they have enamel. These charms may be more delicate due to age and should be handled with care. Avoid subjecting them to excessive force, extreme temperatures, or prolonged exposure to sun and moisture.
