Lisa's Charm Necklace
"There are very few things that make me as happy as my travel themed charm necklace. Favorite cities, exotic destinations, and places we have lived are popular themes in charm world. These charms mark a moment in time and trace our life stories."
Ponte Vecchio
I lived in Florence my Junior year abroad with an Italian woman who fed us Nutella and got mad when our parents called us on her home phone (the dinosaur age!) I also learned how to be responsible for myself, live on a budget and speak just enough Italian to get around and order delicious food!
Scotland Book
We celebrated my husband's 40th birthday in Scotland. We spent a beautiful day in Edinburgh where I happened into a jewelry shop and found this enameled book. Inside are tiny paper pages with illustrations of various Scottish sites.
Pagoda
I lived in Hong Kong for three years and Penelope was born there. What a vibrant and amazing city! We traveled to Indonesia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia, Tibet and more. Not to mention I was only a short flight from my little sister in Bali.
Compass
I've always loved the symbolism of a compass- protection and guidance. This simple working golden compass reminds me to have faith in whatever direction I'm heading.
Crested Butte
My husband Geoff proposed to me in the Colorado town of Crested Butte. When he asked for my hand seated next to me, I had to say “get on your knee!” Which, of course, he’s never let me forget. Also great skiing!
Taj Mahal
When great friends of ours moved to India, we jumped. Everything about the Taj Mahal spoke to me, the beauty, the scale and the sentiment. A monument built for a great love story AND with jewel encrusted walls! Luckily I knew where to find the perfect miniature!
